About Us

StrongWILL Food Pantry began with a simple community tradition: neighbors helping neighbors.

What started as an annual Thanksgiving food drive organized by All Saints Episcopal Church grew through the support of local families, Cub Scout Pack 248 at Maple West Elementary School, and later Troop 457. Donations collected through the drive were distributed through the Williamsville Central School District to help local families experiencing food insecurity.

As the need became more apparent, so did the opportunity to provide support beyond the holiday season. While a student at Williamsville South High School, Jordan Fuller learned that school counselors and staff were often using their own resources to help students and families in need. As part of her Girl Scout Gold Award project, Jordan worked closely with her advisor, Cheryl Goldstone, and Williamsville Central School District administrators to establish a permanent pantry where food and essential items could be available throughout the school year.

When Jordan left for college, Cheryl took on the responsibility of leading and caring for the pantry, a role she continued until her passing in December 2025. Cheryl devoted her career at Williamsville South, as well as countless hours of her personal time, to preparing students for a lifetime of success. Her commitment to the pantry was an extension of that dedication, and her impact remains an important part of StrongWILL's story.

The Williamsville School District Pantry grew into a collaborative effort supported by food drives throughout the district, school staff, students, volunteers, and the greater Williamsville community. School personnel could access pantry supplies for families in need, while students from Williamsville South's Special Education program helped organize inventory and maintain the pantry.

In 2026, the effort took its next step forward with the incorporation of StrongWILL Food Pantry as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, building upon the foundation established within the Williamsville schools and expanding its ability to serve the community.

Today, StrongWILL Food Pantry provides food and essential resources to individuals and families in our community with dignity, compassion, and care. What began with one annual food drive has grown into an ongoing commitment to supporting our village, one family at a time.
